Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, performer and actor best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions before making it big on the national theatre area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. In 1957, she also launched her first album of music called It's time for Tina. Louise made her foray into Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The film was praised widely and Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. During this time she joined the Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection with Lee Strasberg as his student. Louise joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway as a somber character that reflected her reputation as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years, she's also become a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birth date was 28 August 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, 3, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived throughout her early years. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She is a resident of Vancouver ever from then on.
