Zoe-perry

Perry is born the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first television roles were two appearances on the show as Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) in her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne, the character portrayed by her mother. She was not allowed to perform with her parents till she reached adulthood, as they feared the stress it would cause. Perry says she didn't want to be an actor in high school but decided to take up acting as a social activity at Northwestern University when she switched to it from Boston University. Perry following her graduation from Boston University moved in New York in search of television roles. Perry was able to land small roles on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness brought her back to California in search of theater jobs. Her mother and she appeared on Broadway with her as part of The Other Place, in 2013. The father of her Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie with her in the year 2015. Perry starred in nine episodes in 2016 of the ABC drama The Family. In 2017, Perry had an appearance on ABC's political thriller Scandal alongside her father. The actress also portrayed her young Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon, a CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The role was selected via auditions the fact that she had a deep connection with it.
